Ethical Technology Choices
Fathom Analytics
Instead of Google Analytics, we use Fathom Analytics. Fathom is privacy-focused, GDPR compliant, and does not use cookies or collect personal data. It helps us understand how our site is used without compromising your privacy.
Email Confirmation
We use email confirmation to prevent bot accounts while maintaining a simple, privacy-focused approach. This ensures real users can easily join while keeping automated accounts at bay.
Stripe
For payments, we use Stripe. They collect required payment information with strong security and clear data practices. We only process the minimum details needed to complete transactions.
Lemonfox AI
For voice transcription, we chose Lemonfox AI because of their zero-retention policy. Audio files and transcripts are deleted immediately after processing, and they never use your data for model training. Privacy and security are their top priorities.
No Ad Tracking
We do not use advertising networks or tracking pixels. You will not find Facebook pixels, Google Ads, or other ad tracking technologies on our site. We believe in building a sustainable business without relying on surveillance-based advertising.
What We Collect
We only collect the information necessary to provide our service:
- Account information (email and password) for authentication
- Content you create and share on our platform
- Audio files for transcription (deleted immediately after processing)
- Basic usage data through Fathom Analytics (anonymous, no personal data)
- Payment information (processed securely through Stripe)
Your Control
We believe control belongs to you:
- You can delete your account and all associated data at any time
- You can export your content
- You can opt out of analytics tracking
- You can request a copy of your data
